Business

I have a degree in Art, and since I work for a music company and do administrative and marketing, I really don't get to use my art skills all that much. Needless to say, I really miss painting and creating. I try to paint as much as I can, but at our house we really don't have a good place for me to leave all my supplies set up, so I have to set everything up and then take it all down when I am done and its just a big pain so I don't do it all that often. One day maybe I will have my own painting room in my house, but for now I live in a shoebox. :)

Anyways, I needed a creative outlet so I decided to start a little business. Introducing....

Wiggles and Giggles has lots of custom children's items (bow holders, initial canvas', Painted quotes/scriptures, toy boxes, birthday banners, hospital door hangers, painted birth announcements, etc.) I am just getting started so I will upload more pictures as I get them.

I feel like I am in 7th grade again....

If you could change your name, what would you change it to? I am not sure that I would. My middle name is Grace and sometimes I wish that I went by that, but I guess Katherine will do. Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for $1000? Most definitely. I love hot sauce. I might barf afterwards but I would definitely do it.

Ever been in a car wreck? yes-I hydroplaned on the freeway one time, spinning into the median, hitting a speed limit sign (those things are HUGE FYI), spinning into on coming traffic, and back out into the median. It was scary. No one in the car was hurt, and the car just had a little bit of damage. Thank the LORD.

Plans tonight? Eating dinner at the Martinez's with the Friesens and then packing for our trip to Auburn this weekend!

Current hate right now? The city of Mobile road workers. They have had our street and 1/2 our yard torn up for over 7 months, which has been a huge pain. Then yesterday they accidentally hit a water main and we came home find our backyard was a huge mud pit because of it. Lovely.

Its been awhile......

Well its been awhile since my last post so I figured I better post an update.....

Tim graduated college on May 9th-woo hoo! It was such a huge accomplishment and I am so proud of him! It has been heavenly being able to actually see eachother and hang out! We are loving all this free time!


Tim's car or as we affectionitly call it, Black Beauty, went to the graveyard. Well not exactly, we sold her to some idiot, very smart person with more patients than us, bought it and is going to dump a lot of money into it all the time to fix it, drive it. We were sad to see it go, kind of. We are currently shopping for a new car, so for the time being we only have one car. Thankfully we work close to each other so it hasn’t been too bad.

RIP Black Beauty

Tim and I celebrated 2 years of wedded bliss. I cannot believe it has been that long! Time flies.

We are finally fencing our backyard. I know I know it’s the little things that excite me. But seriously this is going to be so awesome once we are done because we will be able to just open the back door and let Bear run around like the crazy Banchee Indian that he is. It will be glorious. Plus our neighbor has had a dead car parked in his backyard for 2 years so it will be nice to not have to look at it everyday!

Next weekend, we are going to Auburn to see Phillip and Deborah so we are pumped about that. I think Bear is the most of excited of all because he will get to see his long lost love, LuLu. They LOVE each other. We are excited to see their house which they have been totally remodeling. We have seen some pics, which look awesome but I can’t wait to see it in person!

The rest of our Summer looks pretty slow, well besides the fact that Elissa and Mary Lee are going to be birthing my new nephew and niece, which I am pumped about. It Has Been Awhile....

Well its been forever since I last posted...the holidays came and things got crazy. Lots has happened since my last post....let's see where do I start....

1. In November I started working out. It sucks I hate it, but I gotta do it. Plus Tim is helping to motivate me by buying me new shoes if I go atleast 3 days a week. Now if I could only eat healthy so I actually keep off the calories I burn. Right now all the calories I burn at the gym I eat back in a matter of hours after coming home. Dr Pepper and chips are just too good to resist. Oh well...

2. At Thanksgiving, my sister Elissa and her husband Allan, announced they are Preggo. It is their first, and they are super excited, as am I. She is due 7/21 I am hoping it will be a girl, they are hoping it will be a boy....I hope I win.

3. The day after Christmas, my entire family, left for a road trip to Texas to see both my grandmothers. It was loads of fun. It was the first time we have all really been able to hang out for longer than a few hours, since we all got married. It was a crazy trip...my dad, mom, Elissa, JulieAnna, Tim, our dog Bear, and my parents dog Sadie....in two cars. It was supposed to be all in one car, but at the last minute that changed when my dad went to pick up the van we were renting at Enterprise, and found out they had rented our RESERVED van, to someone else. It worked out ok though.

4. Last week, my other older sister Mary Lee and her husband Matt, announced they were Preggo too! They have 4...thats right 4! boys so they are hoping for a girl....she is due 9/13.


5. On Tuesday, Tim started his last semester of college! Woo Hoo! I CANNOT wait till he is done, it will be like getting married all over again, because right now I never ever see him. We are going to take a cruise or do something fun to celebrate when he graduates.

6. At the end of February, we are going to New York. I am SO excited. I have never been, and always wanted to go. We are going to go to all the Art Museums- which I am SO SO pumped about. After yesterday's litle mishap with the US Air plane going down in the Hudson River, I am not pumped we too are flying US Air.....

I think thats about does it....2009 is off to a crazy start already and I can't believe January is almost over. I am pumped American Idol has started and cannot wait for Lost next week!
